2nd Football Game

The second football game was much better! We won against Owasso 24-14. Pretty Awesome!

Halftime show was amazing. We got the official invitation to the Tournament of Roses Parade from the President. ( I am having trouble typing my fingers are not awake yet) The actual show was definately worth watching! Good temp and the DMs didn't mess up for once. Well, I finished Nicolae ( the third book of the Left Behind series) and I am getting ready to go retreat to my room to start Soul Harvest. Bye and leave lots of comments!

First Football Game

Football game was...awesome!!!! Of course the opponent was our biggest rival, Union. The band did great I could not here much of the music because of crowd noise, but it looked cool. Speaking of Band, we have our show title for this year

RUN (a)WAY

I think it's cool. Now back to the game, our football team played the best game I have ever seen out of them. YOU GUYS ROCK!!! GOOD JOB!!!!!

We scored a touchdown early in the first quarter and it just went uphill from there. We were sooooo excited at the end, the students ran onto the field with 21 secs. and the principal and police and people were trying to get them to go back. But they wanted to go onto the field, you know why?

WE WON AGAINST UNION!!!!!!!!! 24-9. It took us 18 years (yes 18!) and 22 games to get to this pinnacle moment in BA football. Our football team was awesome, if you ever come across one, wish him well and luck for our next game, OWASSO.

Oh, and now to the halftime show. It was okay, not our best performance in my opinion. Last night at rehearsal we had major issues with tempo and keeping time. The time got really wide tonight, but we held on and finished. Boy was it good to hear the crowd cheer! They cheered when the announcer said " And the 2006 GRAND NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!" and after the announcement of our name and the end of the show. It was fun being in the performance mode. It felt good.

My church was there tonight too! They hold tailgate parties and they set up right next to where the band walks to the stadium, when they saw me they were yelling my name and cheering. I couldn't help but smile.

So this is kind-of a long post. I enjoyed recapping though. I hope my readers had a good time reading (hints why I call them my READERS) :)

I had a good time tonight and I hope everybody else did too!

Goodnight Y'all,
Brittany

p.s. I will have pics later.

Driller's Game!

Hornsby the Mascot was stretching with the team.

The Lighting(my sister's team) was their Dream Team for the game, it was really cool. I got a ball, signed by some players and Hornsby. I also got a hat.

Training

YAY K is back!!!!!

Okay, so now that I have gotten that out of the way, I will start my new post.

After seeing that Tulsa will now be trying to make more non-leash parks, my sisters and I have decided to train the dogs properly now. Sit has been mastered with an occasional treat(they love those!) and we are currently working on Stay and Come. We have been making extreme progress these past 2 days and I am excited!

Wish Holly and Dixie luck as they become good dogs( not that they weren't, just they wouldn't obey).

Goodbye for now!

LIFEGUARDS!

Lifeguards! They are those really tan people at the public pools, you know? Well, if you can guess where I'm going with this 100 points to you.

I went to the public pool today. I saw really hot hot hot lifeguards there! Amazing! Oh yeah, I did a little swimming, went down the slide a few times (once) and watched all the people around me have a good time in the pool. Those lifeguards though, they were fun to watch. I knew one from Pride and another from school, I'm not talking about those. Lifeguards are sooo tan, you just want to watch them blow their whistle at the little kids running around the edge of the pool.

The lifeguards above are a little too tan, but they still are amazing!

p.s. Pride starts Monday. pray that nobody gets too dehydrated!
