Sadness
Yesterday my band director's mother died unexpectedly. Please keep the Davis's in you thoughts and prayers as we enter the holiday season and the Pride gears up for the Tournament of Roses Parade. I don't have much info right now, and I probably won't post it in respect for the family. Thank You For Your Support.

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!
Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!
Ok, I know I haven't posted in a very long time. (the last one doesn't really count) To those (*wink*) who have been wondering about Indy, it went extremely well. I was satisfied with all THREE performances. WE MADE IT TO FINALS! That was my goal. We placed 6th overall, which to those who don't know, that is 6th in the nation and I don't care about placings. And some news about the Rose parade. I believe that our personal accounts are now down to $250! With all the work and wonderful donations (thanks Toni!) I am getting close! Ok, now to my real intention for this post...
What I am Thankful For
My family- even though we don't always get along, especially when it comes to my perfect parking place, I know you are always there for me even when I screw up. I can come home and tease my sisters or annoy my parents and get away with it, most of the time. I can also be really grouchy and they still love me! I am thankful for my Mom, Dad, Bri, and Brooklynne, Kymberly, and Memaw.
My Godmother and mentor- I love how we have had a special bond since I was born, you changed my first poopy diaper. It took really guts to do that! I also love how I can go there to hang out every Monday night and watch a very funny sitcom about nerds and then watch the latest Supernatural ep and talk about the recent convention and how much fun you had.Without you I wouldn't have started a blog. I am thankful for CindyRose.
My car- I am spoiled and I got a car for my 16th birthday. It wasn't new, but it was my dream car (Ok, it's not the 67 metallic black Chevy impala, but it is black). My car gets me to and from places, though I have had some scary scenarios in it (stupid people drivers). I am thankful for my 2000 Nissan Sentra.
My house- granted it is not mine, it keeps me dry and my things dry. Alot of people can't say they have a safe place to go to each night but I can. Though the worst storms with lots of thunder and lightning and hail, it keeps me safe. It also keeps me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Thought the terrible ice storms I was safe. I am thankful for my house.
My cat- What can I say about Angel? She is my best friend. I cuddle with her and I am instantly calmed down by her warm fur and purring. I can also tell her secrets and she won't tell anybody. She does call me when she is hungry and it can get annoying, but I don't care. She does throw up, and it is especially gross when it is in my room. She also protects me from the smallest garder snakes and then places their defeated bodies in my bed. I am thankful for my cat Angel.
The dogs- you make me laugh with your playfulness. your poop is annoying. and when you bark at the slightest noise outside, I am reminded that anyone who wants to harm my family will have to look at their puppydog eyes and be deterred by their wagging tails. The big dog outside though, watch out, she'll tear you apart! I am thankful for my dogs.
Food- ahh delectable food. you are both a curse and a blessing. I am thankful for my food.
Water- I am definately thankful for water, especially in the hot OK summers. You also quench my thirst at Pride. I am thankful for my water.
Pride- Pride has taught me alot about myself, I have learned manners and how to make friends. also, I can march very well. I am busy after school playing my instrument in the band instead of drugs or other unimaginable things. I am thankful for the Broken Arrow Pride Marching Band.
There are so many other things I am thankful for, and if I listed everything, you would be here forever.
Take a little time this week and go over what you are thankful for! Praise God for everything!
Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!

YAY!!!
I got to see Morris H.S. Band perform tonight! They were amazing. They are performing in a contest at Glenpool hs Saturday at 10:45am and I think I want to go. I met some friends (mostly sax and 1 vibraphone player) and I want to support them in this contest. If I don't make it, I want to give a standing ovation to every member in that band. They were great! Oh another thing, if you live close enough to get either the Tulsa World or the BA Daily Ledger, keep an eye out for a pic of both bands mingled with each other on the field.
Their show was based on some Beatles hits. I am not that familiar with the Beatles music, yet I still like them (how does that work?). Oh and another thing, in the DL Cale Fulps, BA's senior quarterback, writes an article about the previous game and what he thinks they will do in the next. BA Pride is going to have a band member each week do the same thing. I want to write an article for the paper! That would be soooooooo cool!!!!!! I think I already know what I am going to write about. At Owasso, a Jenks band member (girl) came up to congratulate me and she told me that we were very inspiring! I was too tired to fully understand that Saturday night, but I know now. I want to write about that and how Pride has changed my life for the better. YAY PRIDE!!!!!
I got all my math homework done at school today. I am excited. I listened to notes and did my homework correctly! I didn't finish it all in math class, but I finished it in English, the next hour, because I got kicked off the computer. I was doing my assignment that is due on Monday and another Pride member asked if she could use my computer because she needed to finish the assignment due today. I grumbly agreed and since I couldn't print, I couldn't write the rest of my assignment today. I didn't really mind, I was almost done, but I wished I could've gotten it done today. I did my math instead.
BTW, did you know that humans that don't own cats have a bigger (30-40%) chance of dying from cardiovascular disease and strokes than cat owners (The Age of Anxiety NPG)? Cats help reduce stress. I little somtin' I learned from my research in English class.
It is late and I have a long day tomorrow so goodnight!
