Electricity
Electricity,
I have never really appreciated it until now. Our tree broke, and the power went out for a day. no school for our three snow days now. Life is pretty much slow right now.
unlike a regular snow day, this is because of ice-caused power outages and it all melted in the same day. you could actually go outside and wait about 10 minutes and hear a dum dum dum CRACK!
Trees were falling like snow. and I wish it was snow. No ice.
ok, now that im done rambling, thanks for the comments!

December
I just love December. It is so cold, but the cold is just fun. You can get miserably hot after you have just about no clothes on, but with the cold crispness outside you can put layers on. I just love the cold.
Christmas is obviously the best part about December. Althought Christmas has become commercial and not about the true meaning...JESUS!!!!!!
I love December. I also love the traditions and starting new ones. Like normally we get out our artificial tree held together by ducktape. This year we are getting a real one! I have no idea what it will be like. It will be fun though!
Do you have any traditions? Wish to share? please do!!!!

The world around me
so, yeah. I'm at school right now and it is very boring. I am in english class(which isn't boring) but we are studying Poe on the internet. You want to know what is also strange? Shelterbelt won't let me view my actuall blog. The link is blocked. funny.
Ok, I think I could write a book on all the drama that goes on here. I hear the f- bomb dropped all around me. I can also tell the virgins from the non. Is this wrong. I am one of the good moral ones, and I can judge what a person's personality is by how they look and act around me as I pass them outside or in the hallway? Am I just a passerby to them, can they judge me too, do they even know my name? I know these are some deep questions at school when I should be doing my work(sorry but it is boring) but I really don't care what people I don't even know think about me. I don't care if I ever see them after high school. (by the way, I think you would be surprised what high school is like now compared to what it was earlier in life.) It is also hot in this room. So, heat plus boredness and other things make me sleepy and think about random things. So...
Thought I would share some thoughts about what is going through my head right now at school. 13 minutes until that bell rings. 13 minutes until I am free. 13 minutes! Now 12 I can almost list what I am going to do this afternoon as I count the minutes go by. Unfortunately, they are going very slow. too bad. So, I can say that after Pride was over I felt that I had a life again. Pride takes over in the fall especially since last year when we were national champions. I can go places after school. I applied for a job at hobby lobby and Southern Ag. I can take my sisters to the library if I wanted to. I can do anything in the afternoon after school! I'm free!
Wow, I can write alot when I have things on my mind! i wonder what it is like to be a professional writer. I may not have anything published, but I can write. I don't want to be a philosopher though. English class in the writer's workbench is fun. Writer's Workbench is the computer lab upstairs from our classroom. I may have to go upstairs to get to it, but I am able to write without a pencil. Those things hurt after awile. I know that typing on a keyboard can hurt, but I am not there yet.
Ok, I lied about the minutes. I did the math wrong. now we have 15 minutes. It's been a long day what can I say?! Band was fun. Chemistry I actually got. Band was ok again. History was informative(renassiance). Math was boring(I did my english work in there. I always do). English is well... English. I love some of the stuff we read but still. Emerson is all about non-comformity and encouragement, Thoreau is strange. He decided that he wanted to live out in the woods alone for two years. He was all about non-conformity and self reliance. ok, my teacher has officially seen this and she says I am funny. Ok, I better do my work. sorry, I think I could go on forever today.
bye bye and have a good day.

Candy Success!
Wow! My candy was a success! People kept asking my how much they were, and when I told them they were free they smiled in disbelief. It was fun seeing the reactions. I may actually sell them for real!
how does this sound,
$15 per box of one kind
$17 with 2 kinds
$1 for two
1 box has 15 chocolates in it.
all homemade chocolate!

Grand Nationals

We didn't win, but that was not the reason we went. We went to have fun and perform our very best on a national level, also to make finals which consists of the top 12 bands at the event. We made finals. YAY!!!!!! Like I said, we didn't win but we got 6th place. Congratulations to L.D. Bell High School from Hurst Texas for being the Grand National Champion for 2007! They had an amazing show based off of Pans Labyrinth. I couldn't quite get it at first, but neither did I get our show Phantasy for awhile. If you really want to see their show, you can go to
www.bands.org
you do have to pay $30 for a one year membership fee but you can also see Phantasy! It was really good.
Have a very happy Thanksgiving! Eat more than the invisible sandwich!

Never Ever Again
I have learned my lesson. First, mother's always know when their child lies. Second, never borrow money...especially from siblings. Third, never buy something with money you don't have... it puts you in debt.
ok, I have15 out of 35 more dollars left to repay. wish me luck.

BA Invitational
So yeah, the BAI went really well. I was a program seller and it was quite fun if you ask me. Owasso won(yay Owasso!) 1st place and all the captions. I enjoyed every band's performance. I hoped they liked Ba's. Now, being an event that we hosted, we didn't get a score and place like the competing bands but we still were judged. so, there you go.
supernatural... AMAZING.... I learned something too. the seven deadly sins. Pride, gluttony, wrath, sloth, greed, envy, lust. Learned from CindyRose herself.
ok, so I need to catch up on some sleep...not. here is a new series that I thought was cool.
Marked by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast
Betrayed by P.C. Cast and Kristen Cast
both are a house of night series. they are young adult books with some language and scenes, but overall very good.

Birds at Play
So yeah, I was going to post this last week, but I think I will post it now.
I was getting out of my car today and I noticed the neighbors playing, these neighbors are birds. Don't ask me what kind b/c I have no clue. Anyway, there was one bird in particular that caught my attention. He had a HUGE grasshopper in his beak, and was following(playing) with the other birds. I personally think he was gloating. He went to chirp and dropped that huge grasshopper and it hopped away. Well, he decided he was not going to let this one go after he was talking(or trying to at least) to his fellow birds about it. So the game began. The grasshopper hopped, then the bird. The rest was history. I don't think that bird got his grasshopper and his friends started teasing him about it as I was walking up the sidewalk to the band room for my morning (ritual) routine. I have some pics to illustrate.

Thanks K for sending some absolutely b-eautiful weather.
I finished my song!!!!!! I have copyright and everything!!!!! It is a Flute, Tenor Sax, and Contra Alto Clarinet trio. It is amazing, it is called Music Box.
I have no idea how to publish yet, so I am going to write the seperate parts for each instrument before I do anything else.

Beautiful Day
Ok, the title wasn't the real weather of today, it was just how things went.
Pride was, well, Pride. "One more time" was the saying of the day. More drill was added. Our show will be amazing this year.
I read a comment that a reader published and it made me smile. Oklahoma had a drought last year for a very long time and there was dead, brown grass everywhere. Water was not common from the sky. But, when that first needed rain after a long time, there was refreshment everywhere you looked. So, now I thank God for the beautiful day I have had and I am going to bed.
By-the-way, My godmother is writing a book that is going to be totally amazingly great. I know that there is not proper grammar there, but frankly, I don't care.
Have a good night everyone, remember church tomorrow!

So yeah, it's raining outside.
So the football game tonight went well, all except that one of our dm's left their jacket at the band room and it rained... several times.
It is raining outside, and I can hear the pitter-patter of the medium-sized raindrops getting larger as I type, and I can also hear the deep role of thunder as in the song " When the Thunder Rolls" by Garth Brooks. I know lightning is present, but I am typing at a computer therefore I cannot see it right now.
I am excited, I got the cd from the radio station today. I won the new Casting Crowns CD on the radio station 102.3 last Wednesday.
I was enjoying the nice ice that is at Quik Trip, because I stopped on the way home to get a drink and a taquito ( I love QT's Taquitos!). If you are wondering, I got a chicken taquito and a small 22 ounce fountain Sprite. Both were very appetizing.
Oh well, it is very late for me since I have yet another Pride Practice tomorrow. Good Night!

Ok, My Forgotten Intro
This is obviously me with my Alto Saxophone. I play Alto for symphonic band at BAHS and Contra Clarinet for WE at BAHS. I also play tenor sax for Pride, and boy, is that thing bigger than the alto!
I am a good youthful age. No details there. I have 3 sisters, two of them are younger twins. I am not a triplet contrary to popular belief. It is kinda cool that we are the BR's except for Kymberly. I have lived in the same house for my whole life, if you don't count my Godmother's house(Cindy) or my memaw's house and so on.
Like I mentioned in my profile, I am a southern baptist and I accepted Jesus Crist into my heart. I go to Aspen Park BC and I play in the orchestra there and am involoved with the youth ministry.
I have a cat named Angel. I love her to death!!!! She is always there and never tells a secret. She is fat though. She is a beautiful gray and white tabby cat with a hint of tiger stripes down her back. Her fur is really soft so I like to cuddle with her alot.
I don't have a boyfriend yet because I believe I will not date someone unless...
- The boy asks me out first, it is a tradition you know.
- I can see myself with them as a spouse in my future years
So there is a glimpse at my life, only a part of it you can know.
Here you go, this is my second post today!
TTUL,
Britt
Pride + Weather Machine = Rain?
So Yeah, What does the title mean? Guess... Nope The solution is not possible. No rain is possible during Pride Practice. Not a drop. Ok, so now I have gotten off my soapbox, we can continue.
Started the day out with band, that didn't go so great for the class. Me, great. Class, not so great. Chem was, ok it was stupid and boring. by now after almost a month you would think we know each other's names. Band again, now this time it was FUN. I have never been first chair before. It was amazing, but now I have standards to live up to. Rest of the day, boring. Movie, equations, ACT Test Prep. Boring. Although in Pride we got more music. SAXOPHONE FEATURE!!!!!
Another question before we leave.
Is -1 an answer for this equation? Y= x+3x+9x
No this is not my homework. Im in alg. II.

IDK My BFF Jill?
So, I love that commercial. It's just a funny commercial that was well thought of. Ok, now that we have this into thing figured out, lets get started.
So i have a friend who has a blogspot and I like it alot. I am on here to post some pictures and some crazy thoughts I have every once in a while. Of course, I am not a pro at this, but I am learning. So, After this I am going to bed to attempt to get some sleep. School is a drag right now because nothing is happening really.
So, as I think of any poems, lyrics, or simple stories to tell you about, ponder this...
Who are you living your life for? Why?
Over and Out,
Seale
